Nestled in the rolling meadows that lead to Yellowstone National Park and just a few minutes from historic Cody, Wyoming, Monster Lake is anything but peaceful! With an average fish length of 20" and a growth rate of of over 10" per year, Rainbow trout range in the 18"--24" class with an occasional 26 inch fish. Large Brook and Brown trout are also plentiful. In fact, hooking 20 fish per day, with an average length of 20" is not uncommon.
