What else is there to do in Cody?
Cody is the home to Buffalo Bill Cody and has a fantastic museum which is named after Buffalo Bill. There are many famous western artists: Remington, Russell, etc. as well as some contemporary western artists. The museum has one of the largest gun collections in the U.S. The area has one of the first wild horse preserves and the museum has an exhibit on that as well as a portion of the museum is dedicated to the Plains Indians. Indian pow wows, rodeos, and shopping are all part of the western experience in Cody. For the outdoorsman, hiking and backpacking in wilderness areas are all close by. There are many guest ranches for those wanting a true western experience. Visit the Explore Wyoming page for detailed information.
